Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support existing 401(k) participants through answering telephone calls, responding to inquiries, fulfilling requests, handling complaints, troubleshooting problems and providing information.

Essential Job Functions:
• Answers calls, performs research, processes participant requests, documents as appropriate and responds both verbally and through writing. Will also make outbound calls.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with area staff, management and participants.
• Asks appropriate questions and serves as a resource of information when attempting to retain existing business.
• Enters all information related to the call for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Inform management of area activities and any significant problems.
• Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
• Stay abreast of IRS and DOL laws and changes in the field of 401(k) plans.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years' call center experience.
• Strong knowledge of 401(k) plan administration and payroll software (HR Pyramid) knowledge a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Able to maintain confidential information.

Educational and Professional Licensing or Certification Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
