Position Summary: 

Responsible for supporting the risk operations leaders as well as other departments, as needed, with the enterprise-wide risk management program.  

Responsible for supporting the Risk Management functions of the organization. This role will assist with the compliance of all carrier and state agency requirements, insurance certificate operations, incentive program support, policy/endorsement tracking, loss run management and overall workers' compensation coverage support. This individual is responsible for effective relationships with clients and internal/external partners.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works closely with Operations      Management in developing and coordinating risk operations as required by      company best practices, policies and industry standards
  • Manages risk related incentive      programs, certificates, loss runs and monopolistic state operations
  • Manage and fulfill client related      experience modification requests
  • Supports information systems, data      integrity, and transference processes to carriers and vendors
  • Manage the carrier      policy/endorsement issuance process including verification of documents      issued
  • Support carrier data reporting in      relation to new clients, terminated clients and client data changes
  • Communicates with multiple internal      and external partners relating to risk profile data/insurance process,      reporting and analysis
  • Supports the management of workers      compensation carve out accounts including audit compliance and accurate      collection of fees from clients where appropriate
  • Ensures compliance with relevant      laws, regulations, industry standards and company policies
  • Ensures quality of service and accountability standards for all      internal and external partners
  • Coordinates with other risk management services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Working knowledge of federal and state      workers' compensation laws and regulations including classifications,      manuals, and rules including monopolistic states is helpful
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills

Educational and Professional Licensing or Certification Requirements:

  • One-year certificate from college      or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or      equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PEO and/or workers' compensation experience a plus
